The world needs us. The world needs us to make different choices. We need to help the world survive us.
We are a social enterprise. We are on a mission to help save the world. Together with like minded people we meet along the way, we make waves.
'Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are often the ones who do'
We advise energy and SDG projects and professionals to make the biggest waves possible. To broaden and strengthen their impact.
Little girl
A few years ago I received a phone call from the WWF. A nice gentleman thanked me for my support as I had been a supporter of WWF for so many years. The reason for his call was to ask me if I could spare a bit more as they were in need of more funding. I asked how much I donated monthly. With a serious tone he replied €0,45. Well yes, maybe I can spare just a little bit more. It turns out I’ve been a loyal donator from the time I was 4.
Waddensea
We spent our holidays on a small island, called Terschelling, which is in the Waddensea. We often went ‘wadlopen’ which means walking over the bottom of the sea at low tide. Along the shores of the island or even, if you were lucky, from one island to another. We’d see seals, cockels, mallards and grebes. It was magnificent to be actually walking in the sea. And of course we had to hurry as the tide would come and we needed to be back on shore in time.

I had a small rucksack and a sweater with ‘Wees Wijs met de Waddenzee’ meaning, ‘Be wise with the Waddensea’ The Waddensea is unique UNESCO heritage in the Netherlands.
Later, when I was about 16yrs old, I had written Meat = Murder on the rucksack. It was a time with mad cows disease and foot&mouth disease. And I became a vegetarian because of it.
Connections
After studying Communications and Sociology, I became a consultant. I specialise in people. Supporting companies and their people through change. Connecting the right people at the right time. I help out to continue the dialogue and actively listen. As easy as it sounds; it can be most challenging. By taking a systematic approach you make sure you don’t miss out on an opportunity to listen to your stakeholders. And have the right conversation that can help further your project.
I love to make connections, to connect people around a common purpose. A common purpose to create a healthy planet and society. I work exclusively for organisations and professionals with a sustainable mission.
Rotterdam
When our children were born, I made a promise to make the world better for them. It’s my personal mission to create a more healthy planet they can enjoy. That’s what I’m doing, every day. There’s slow days, there’s fast days, all days are most satisfying!
We live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We make as many sustainable choices as possible, though yes, we do own a car (a hybrid) and we have small children, we do use disposable diapers. We do as much as we can and take things one small step at a time. The most important part of it is to make conscious choices, so life doesn’t just simply pass you by. And the chance we make a sustainable choice increases.
